What is THE TERP ROOM?
THE TERP ROOM combines fine dining, curated conversations and selected brand moments in a deliberately personal setting.
A trade fair creates many quick encounters. This evening creates time for conversations that go beyond a short exchange at a stand. Industry contacts can meet in a smaller group, strengthen existing relationships and discuss new ideas away from the noise of the exhibition floor.
The format is neither a public party nor a conventional sponsorship event. The focus is on relevant guests, a high-quality evening and meaningful connections.
Fine dining with terp pairing
The culinary centre of the evening is a specially developed menu by culinary host André Schneider, author of High Cuisine, published by Nachtschatten Verlag. Each course is accompanied by a carefully coordinated terp pairing.
The concept focuses on the interplay between food and distinctive aroma profiles. The official event concept names four directions:
- citrus & freshness,
- herbal & earthy,
- spice & depth,
- floral & elegant.
The pairing is therefore not a decorative label but part of the menu’s structure: aroma, course and atmosphere are coordinated as one experience. Confirmed guests receive the available menu options with their invitation.
Why the evening before Cannafair?
Cannafair brings brands, retailers, creators, service providers and international industry contacts to Düsseldorf. THE TERP ROOM uses that moment before the trade-show days begin.
The evening creates space to:
- meet new contacts in person,
- strengthen existing partnerships,
- discuss products, markets and shared projects,
- present selected brands in a fitting environment,
- begin the Cannafair weekend with time and quality.
It offers a counterpoint to fast trade-show networking: less noise and more time for the right conversations.
What guests can expect
THE TERP ROOM is designed as a shared evening rather than a packed conference programme.
Personal welcome
Invited guests are welcomed personally and brought together in a deliberately small group. Conversations are encouraged between people and companies with a relevant professional or cultural fit.
Fine dining & terp pairing
The dinner forms the centre of the evening. André Schneider develops the gourmet courses and their terp pairings. A formally set table and carefully chosen atmosphere create the setting for a high-quality shared evening.
Curated conversations
Brands, retail, product development, content, events and community come together to discuss current work, new ideas and potential partnerships. The purpose is personal exchange, not a sales show.
Selected brand moments
Relevant partners can become part of the evening. Each integration is developed individually and needs to fit the atmosphere, guest profile and format. Visibility alone is not enough; the contribution should add value to the event.
Who is THE TERP ROOM for?
The guest list brings together selected decision-makers, founders, brand leads, retail partners, product developers, creators and other professionals from the cannabis, hemp and accessories sector.
The format is deliberately B2B, VIP and invite-only. The quality and fit of the group matter more than maximum attendance.
The partners and hosts behind the format
Jasmin Holistic guided guests through the evening’s fine-dining experience and terp adventure as moderator.
André Schneider was responsible for the menu and terp pairing as culinary host. He is known, among other work, for his book HIGH CUISINE, published by Nachtschatten Verlag. His approach combines high-end fine dining with a precise composition of aromas.
Hanfkranz brings deep roots in Düsseldorf’s cannabis culture and extensive event experience, including the Hanfkranz headshop, the launch of THE STEAMERS and the organisation of the Global Marijuana March NRW.
420BRANDS, together with Hanfkranz as hosts, created the framework for guests, partners, brand moments and communication. The objective was brand presence that fitted the format, guest group and 420 culture.
Brand and specialist partners are curated
Hanfkranz and 420BRANDS are not offering generic sponsorship packages. We are interested in brands and specialist partners that can make a meaningful contribution to hospitality, design, content, product culture or the shared experience.
Potential integrations are discussed individually. The aim is not to place as many logos as possible, but to create a presence that fits the format and its guests.
Register interest in a partnership
Companies can register their interest in a brand or specialist partnership with 420BRANDS.
Registering interest is not an invitation or attendance confirmation. Access to THE TERP ROOM remains limited to personally invited and explicitly confirmed guests.
